Taxi fares in Cyprus are set by law, and taxi drivers are required to use a taximeter . Charges for a taxi between 06:01 and 20:30 are €0.95 per kilometer, and the starting fee is €3.80. Taxi charges between 20:31 and 06:00 are €1.10 per kilometer, and the starting fee is €4.80. There is also an additional charge for luggage (€1.40 for each piece of luggage). Prices are per vehicle in euros and include V.A.T.
